Recently reopened, it's great to have the pub back! Absolutely top knotch carvery, with beef brisket, turkey and lots of flavoursome veg, great value and welcoming proper customer service.Huge well done to Ian, Kath and team!

A beautiful meal and fantastic service. Nothing was too much trouble (table of picky eaters!) We thoroughly enjoyed all our food ..Hunters chicken Beef burger Garlic bread and cheese Kids pasta Ham, egg and beans (swapped egg)Chocolate browniesApple crumble and custard The lovely ladies serving made us feel very welcome and a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Popped in looking for an evening meal, kitchen had closed (quiet night), but the owners reopened to accommodate us.Fantastic hospitality, really friendly and excellent food, couldn't ask for more, and dog friendly as well. Fantastic.

Been coming to The Old Market Inn since it re-opened under Ian and Cath. The menu is fantastic and Ian is a fantastic chef. Cath is always very welcoming as soon as you enter. All the waiters/ waitresses are always very polite. The Sunday carvery is fantastic and gluten free. Great range of drinks to go with the great food. Highly recommend
